Edit your photos
Fix colour, light, sharpness and red eyes without ever changing your original.
The editor lets you fix a photo right in Magpie. Your original is never changed. Guests see their own uploads as they uploaded them, even after you edit the photo. Each time you save, we keep your edit as a new version beside the original, and you can go back to the original whenever you like.
Which plans include editing
Editing, including crop, rotate and flip, comes with Nest and above. Red-eye fixes and straightening come with Flock and above. Fledgling libraries can’t save edits.

Who can edit
You need to be an editor or the owner of the library. Viewers and contributors don’t see the Edit button. If your library’s plan doesn’t include editing, Edit opens a message that names the plan that does. Click Not now to close it. See Compare plans.
Open the editor
Open a photo from your Timeline or from a folder (see Look at a photo up close) and click Edit, or press the E key. Photos you have edited show an Edited badge.
When you finish, Save and Cancel take you back to the page you came from, the timeline or the folder.
Videos can’t be edited yet. For a Live Photo, you edit the still picture. A RAW photo can be edited once its preview is ready, and a photo that is still being processed can be edited when it has finished. Photos that are hidden or archived, and extra copies in a stack of similar photos, can’t be edited.
