Review guest uploads

Everything guests upload waits in From guests. Accept the ones you want to keep and they join your timeline. Reject the rest and they’re deleted.

When something is waiting, From guests in the sidebar shows a count. We also email you when new uploads arrive, at most once an hour for each invite.

Look through what arrived

1. In the sidebar, choose From guests.
2. Uploads are grouped by guest. Each group shows the guest’s name and email, which invite they used, how many items are waiting, and when they last uploaded.
3. To see a photo or video larger, choose the expand button in the corner of its tile.

To see only one invite’s uploads, choose View uploads on that invite in Invites. Choose Show all to go back to everything.

Videos, and RAW files with no preview yet, don’t get a preview here. Their tile shows an icon, the file name and the date it was captured, so you can tell them apart, and you can accept or reject them right away.

Photos can show Preparing preview… for a moment after upload. If a tile says No preview, we couldn’t make one, but you can still accept or reject the file.

Accept or reject several at once

1. Click a tile to select it. Shift-click another tile to select everything in between, or use Select all on a guest’s group.
2. In the bar at the bottom, choose Accept or Reject.
3. If you chose Reject, confirm with Reject and delete.

Choose Clear to unselect everything.

Decide one at a time

Open a photo with the expand button, then choose Accept or Reject. The next one opens on its own.

On a keyboard you can go faster:

• A accepts
• R rejects
• ← and → move between uploads
• Esc closes the preview

What accept and reject do

• Accept adds the item to your library and timeline. It’s yours now, like anything you uploaded yourself.
• Reject deletes the file for good and frees the storage it used. There is no undo, so look before you reject.

Guest uploads count toward your storage from the moment they arrive, even before you decide.

See who sent a photo

Accepted photos remember where they came from. Open one from your timeline and the information bar says who uploaded it, for example “Uploaded by Sam (guest via “Sam & Jo’s wedding”)”, with the date and time.

What guests see

Each guest has a list of their own uploads marked Pending or Added. They can delete an upload while it’s still waiting for you, so something may disappear from From guests before you get to it.

If something goes wrong

• You expected more uploads. Long lists load in pages. Scroll down and choose Load more.
• An upload vanished before you decided. The guest deleted it while it was still waiting.
• “We couldn’t load the uploads waiting for review.” Choose Try again. If it keeps happening, write to webmaster@artisanagility.com.
